The resin we use is extracted from the shrub Commyphora myrrha, native to Arabia. This resin is closely related to incense, as they both come from the same semi-desert areas and from trees in the same botanical family. Since ancient times, this resin has been important in various spiritual and religious rituals.

This resin has a calming effect on the nervous system and helps calm both body and mind. It promotes spiritual work and its use is known for anxiety, grief and excessive emotionality.

In the Bible, it is one of the precious gifts brought by the Three Wise Men. But well before the Christian era, it was valued and used by all the great civilizations of the Middle East.

Instructions for use: carefully ignite the charcoal with tongs and place it in an incense holder suitable for resin incense. Wait until the crackling stops and the edges of the charcoal turn white. Then add half a teaspoon of the mixture to the incense container. For a milder burn, add a teaspoon of the mixture to an aroma burner, with or without water in the bowl.
