Jiri & Friends Resin Insence Copal

Copal is a term from the Nahuatl (Aztec) language and means "incense." There are different types of Copal resin and also various tree species from which it is extracted. In the ancient civilizations of South America, Copal was known as the "food of the gods" and was used in sacred rituals. Our copal comes from the Bursera bippinata and is a white variety.

Copal has a fresher fragrance than traditional incense and is ideal for dispelling negative thoughts. The aroma is known to clear the mind.

Instructions: Ignite the charcoal by holding it with tongs and place it in an incense holder suitable for resin incense. Wait until the crackling stops and the charcoal turns white at the edge. Then add half a teaspoon of the mixture to the incense-holder. For a gentler burn, you can add a teaspoon of mixture into an aroma burner, with or without water in the bowl.
